Director of Youth Programs

Montcerrat Sanchez (Monse) is the Director of Youth services at Corazón Community Services. She currently holds a Bachelor’s in Social Work degree from Northeastern Illinois University. She is the first in her family to attend college and receive a degree.

Monse’s passion to become a social worker came from her experiences of helping the youth and the homeless when she was a part of her local church youth group. Coming from a Hispanic household, she understands the barriers some youth experience within the community. One of her main goals is to break the barriers and cycles that hinder the true potential the youth of the community have within them. She looks forward to gaining new experiences and resources for Corazón to be able to better serve the youth in her community.
