Youth Mentor

Angel serves as a Youth Advocate, spending his time mentoring and working alongside students in a high-school environment, especially students in 10th to 12th grade. He helps promote leadership, growth, and emotional support to the youth, based on his past experiences and skills which have fostered his personal connection with the community. As well, Angel is a former youth member of the Fuerza community, and former member of the health ambassador program, which he joined during his junior year in 2017.

Additionally, Angel is a student at Morton College, pursuing his associates of fine arts in graphic design. He was the former president of the student government association during the 2020-2021 school year, working to better the student engagement in campus, especially during the pandemic. As much as he enjoys art and shaping the future of the Latinx community, he enjoys watching a good movie and tv show in the comfort of his home. Also, he enjoys playing a good board game with family and friends.
