CICERO, IL - In a significant recognition of Corazon Community Services’ impactful work, CBS News Chicago recently featured the organization’s transformative new computer lab. The coverage highlights the dedication and efforts of Corazon in their efforts to bridge the digital divide.

“We noticed that within schools, communication, our parents have no infrastructure and no knowledge how to access it or their email, said Esteban Rodriguez.

CBS News Investigator Megan Hickey speaks with the Hispanic Federation’s Sian Du’Prey inside Corazon’s new computer lab.

Sian Du’Prey of the Hispanic Federation also comments, “How can they negotiate their job salary? How can they build a resume? How can they build a cover letter if they don’t have the ability to use a Google Doc?”

Corazon extends its gratitude to CBS News for shining a spotlight on its efforts, and to all those who are supporting and participating in this initiative.
