Gina Estrada is the Coordinator for the Illinois Youth Improvement Programr at Corazon Community Services that works to facilitate and manage Youth Ambassadors during their work hours under the Illinois Youth Investment Program through assessment, mentorship, monitoring, and evaluating each Youth Ambassador’s needs to prosper under the program. She currently holds a bachelor’s degree of Social Work from Trinity Christian College.
Gina has experience at Corazon, when she was getting her undergraduate degree she interned at Corazon and after she graduated college she had the opportunity to work as a Youth worker for an after school program called “Teen Reach” that is held at Unity Junior High School. She hopes to one day pursue her education and receive her masters degree in Social Work. Gina’s passions are to help make a positive difference in youth and the community. She hopes to support youth and help them grow through difficult times. She leads and inspires others by example. Gina also looks forward to learning and gaining new experiences to better serve the youth and community and she hopes to one day open her own non-profit organization for youth.
