COMMUNITY TECHNOLOGY CENTER
The computer training and services that are provided in Corazón’s CTC, Monday through Friday, include:

• Basic Computing 101: participants will learn common technology terminology and equipment basics. They will also learn how to use computer software mastering basic functions and document creation, saving, moving, copying and deleting electronic files. Lastly they will use the computer to transmit and gather information from the internet. Students will create individual email accounts.

• Advanced Computing: participants will gain additional skills as it pertains to their level of knowledge and expertise. All applicants are given an assessment to determine their level of skill instruction needed.

• College/Career Exploration and Preparation: participants will learn how to access the internet to get information on colleges, download applications, enroll for courses and research financial aide. Participants will also learn how to search for jobs on-line and post their resumes. All participants will create a resume.

• General Community Use: Corazón Community Services provides open lab time for community residents to access the computer lab for personal use.

ILLINOIS VIRTUAL SCHOOL
Corazón Community Services provides online educational classes for students who have been expelled from school. Classes range in all subjects for students in 7th grade all the way through 12th grade. Call for more information.
